Upcoming Rate Changes Affecting Your Bill

1. June 1, 2024, City of Hendersonville, sales tax increases from 9.25% to 9.75 %, tax is charged on water only, not sewer, and is not a HUD increase.
   

2. July 1, 2024, Water rate increases from $4.54 per 1,000 gallons to $4.65 per 1,000 gallons (2.5%). No increase on minimum bills or sewer/metro fees.

3. July 1, 2024, our credit card processing fees will change. The new rate will include a minimum processing fee of $1.75. Any charge exceeding $63.64 will be charged at the rate of 2.75% with a maximum payment amount of $25,000. One-time ACH (E-Check) payments will remain as a flat $1.95 fee. Recurring ACH auto-draft payments will continue at no cost to our customers.
   

4. January 1,2025, The Board of Commissioners voted on a development fee increase (the new fees, effective January 1, 2025, can be reviewed on our website here).
